Lake Julia

Picturesque Lake Julia, site of the former Camp Summit, is the third largest in lake in Transylvania County.  Located on the Reasonover Creek just above its confluence with the Little River, the lake is the water supply for the Agfa plant nearby.

Fishing is allowed under N.C. "Wild" regulations (see user policies).  Vehicular access, however, is allowed only under special use permit.

Note: Swimming has recently been prohibited in Lake Julia because of its classification as a drinking water source for the Agfa plant.
