Patrick first fell in love with Western North Carolina as a camper and counselor at a summer camp in the area. Deciding he needed closer access to the mountains than his hometown of Albany, Ga, he moved to Greenville, SC in 2007 to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science at Furman University. Patrick’s first introduction to DuPont was through class field trips studying the regional geology. He soon picked up mountain biking and quickly fell in love with the Forest.
Patrick earned a Master’s in Business Management from Wake Forest University and his J.D. degree from University of South Carolina School of Law. He has experience working for non-profits including Habitat for Humanity International and Flint RiverKeeper, Inc. Patrick has practiced business and real estate litigation in Greenville since 2019.
Patrick lives in Greenville with his wife, Erin; their newborn son; and their two Cavalier King Charles spaniels. On most weekends you can find Patrick hiking with his family, mountain biking, or riding his gravel bike in Dupont.
Patrick strongly values outdoor education, recreation, and land conservation. Serving on both the Policy Committee and the Development Committee, Patrick is excited to help guide and protect the future of DuPont Forest for generations to come.
