Tips for better Mountain Biking in DuPont

  • Mountain bikers yield to everyone—even on Ridgeline. Always yield to uphill riders (and cheer them on) as well as horses and hikers. With the exception of a few, DuPont trails are all multi-use and multi-directional.
  • Ride in control and give ample time for braking, especially on busy trails.
  • Pack it in and pack it out; there are no trash cans in DuPont.
  • Plan ahead and know your route.
  • Avoid riding in wet weather; if you leave trail marks, it is too wet to ride!
  • Pass kindly and say hi to other trail users.
